It has become an annual event at Leonard Domino & Associates to employ an aboriginal student to work with our firm during the summer to show our commitment to the growth of First Nations.
This summer, Lyndon Akiwenzie has joined Leonard Domino & Associates to assist our office – and to learn about negotiations with government.
Lyndon has much experience in sales and anticipates using his customer service skills at Leonard Domino & Associates. “Basically, there are two kinds of customers no matter what business you are in – internal and external. Serving both in a timely and accurate manner is extremely important. If you listen carefully to your customers, you can best find a solution that meets their real needs”.
Akiwenzie has worked in several Aboriginal service organizations and not-for-profit organizations while living in his First Nation of Chippewas of Nawash. He believes that his valuable experiences that will enhance his ability to assist our office.
Currently, Lyndon is an International Business student and hopes to start his own sales-based business. He is sure that his experiences at Leonard Domino & Associates will positively colour any of his future endeavors.
